P Mukkesh Kumar

Mukkesh was conferred the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Scholarship to pursue his undergraduate degree programme and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) in 2015.

As a statistical lead at A*STAR’s Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS), Mukkesh is passionate about improving the healthcare of women, children and elderly with data science. Mukkesh aims to make generational impacts on global health through the Healthy Birth, Growth and Development Knowledge Integration (HBGDki) project with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Sir Isaac Newton once said, “If I have been able to see further, it was only because I stood on the shoulders of giants.” The learning opportunities at NUS and A*STAR have groomed Mukkesh into a well-rounded, dynamic leader who is capable of effecting a positive impact on society.
